Bong bong Marcos payed P36 million pesos as partial payment for his poll protest fee

The Supreme Court sitting as Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) required former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. a total of P66.2 million pesos to recount the  past election on a certain precincts that Marcos is protesting. The price is based on 500 pesos for each precinct covered by the poll protest.
In his protest Marcos,  charged the election in 39,221 clustered precincts. He wants to conduct a manual count and judicial revisions in the 36,465 precincts. And a cancellation of elections in the remaining 2,756 according to COMELEC’s data. The 39,221 clustered precincts are made of 132,446 precincts.
Marcos already payed 36 million pesos as a partial payment and he needs to pay the remaining amount of 30 million pesos on or before July 14. The former senator said. Marcos also said since mayor joseph Estrada declared April 12, 13 and 14 a non-working holiday. Due to this situation he settled the partial payment Monday April 17.

However, The PET ordered Vice President Leni Robredo to pay a P15 million for a counter-protest she must pay a P8 million on or before April 14 and the remaining amount on or before July 14. Also, Atty. Romulo Macalintal Robredo’s election lawyer stated that Marcos should not only pay a P66 million for the 36,465 cluster precincts but he must pay a P185 million for all the 92,509 clustered precincts covered by his protest.  Atty.Macalintal also added that if every party must pay P500 per precinct, Marcos must pay a total amount of  P185 million seeing that his protest covers 369,138 clustered precincts. Also according to Atty.Macalintal Marcos should be the one to pay first because he is the one who filed the election protest.
Macalintal said
"We are not abandoning our obligations... We just want to be clarified kung bakit kami magbabayad ngayon e wala pa namang pruweba na meron na siyang nare-recover na mga balota," He added.
Even though Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos jr. lost a total of 219127 votes to Vice president Leni Robredo.Still he  believes that he won the Vice Presidential bid and he will never give up until he proves everyone that he is the Vice President of the Philippines
